Welcome to 2300 Livingston Updates
Zoning Ordinance 04-24 passes city council at the end of March 2024.
This ordinance was created in response to the third loss in the court system. The last court to review the case was the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. They mentioned to the city to stop litigation and just change your code. So they did, that was ordinance 04-24.
Next, a group of citizens from South and Central Bexley collected signatures to put this ordinance 04-24 on the ballot. The group collected 694 signatures from Bexley residents. The Board of Elections received the documents about ten days later. The group ended up short 10-14 signatures.
Then May 1st, TCB purchased the Woodyard Funeral property which sits on .24 acres of land. An LLC is considered the owners but the individual investors cannot be traced.
Now, as mentioned in the June CIC meeting, TCB, The Community Builders, will be going forward with the city approval process.
